Job Description

As a Warehouse Manager based in Dortmund, Germany you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our warehouse facility. You will be responsible for managing a team of warehouse staff, optimizing inventory control, and ensuring the timely and accurate receipt, storage, and distribution of goods.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership: Supervise and lead a team of warehouse employees, providing guidance, coaching, and training as needed.
Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, track stock levels, and conduct regular audits to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize discrepancies.
Order Fulfillment: Ensure timely and accurate order picking, packing, and shipping, meeting customer delivery requirements and quality standards.
Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate warehouse processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement, implement best practices, and enhance operational efficiency.
Safety Compliance: Enforce safety procedures and guidelines to create a safe working environment for all employees. Conduct regular safety training and address any safety concerns promptly.
Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to ensure that products are handled, stored, and shipped without damage or defects.
Vendor Relations: Communicate with suppliers and vendors to manage incoming shipments, resolve discrepancies, and maintain good working relationships.
Reporting: Generate regular reports on warehouse performance, including key performance indicators (KPIs), and present findings to senior management.
Budget Management: Manage the warehouse budget effectively, optimizing costs while maintaining operational excellence.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to warehouse operations.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
Proven experience (3+ years) in warehouse management or a similar role.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in warehouse management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Fluent in German and Bulgarian language
